Agricultural technicians from Peru and Bolivia visit the project
Rural comminuties from the highlands of Peru and Bolivia, where cooperation projects of the Zabalketa Association are carried out, are particularly isolated from new developments. Many of agronomic practices that local farmers usually utilize in their fields entail severe environmental impacts, threatening the sustainability of natural resources.
For this reason, Zabalketa requested NEIKER to carry out a training seminar on the use of Agroecosystem Health Cards developed by Soilmontana project, in order to improve the knowledge of agronomic technicians of international cooperation organizations which collaborate with Zabalketa, so they offer an appropriate technical advising to local farmers.
