Analysis of Sustainability in Agriculture Workshop
NEIKER-Tecnalia took part in the workshop “Analysis of Sustainability in Agriculture”, aimed at experts and organized by the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council on 26 and 27 June in the Throne Aretoa.
The General-Director for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Koldo Lizarralde, technicians from the Provincial Council, the land management centers (Abelur and Lurgintza) and two agricultural unions (EHNE and ENBA)attended the Workshop.
On the workshop NAIA 2.0 tool was presented which is being developed under the project INIA RTA2010-00064-C04-03 “Effects on the quality of the products and the environment of the different systems of small ruminant farms with dairy type . Employment of economic, social and environmental and final classification systems. ”
Among the project partners, Juanma Intxaurrandieta (INTIA), José Ramón Mauleon (UPV / EHU) and Oscar del Hierro (NEIKER) were responsible for presenting economic , social and environmental indicators, respectively.
Finally, Iker Elosegi from the Euskal Herriko Laborantza Ganbara (EHLG), gave a presentation on the methodology and results that can be obtained with LOREA tool.
The day ended with a panel discussion, moderated by the General Director , with the participation of the various speakers and attendees at the conference.
